Final Production Samples of FORTIFY!

Hello Backers,

We are excited to share with you that we have received the final productions samples of FORTIFY from the factory and they are amazing!!!  The colors and the final art pop off the table and take you right back to the hot days of summer in the 90's. 

Deluxe Edition

This edition Turned out perfect! There were no necessary changes.  As you can see from the picture, the screen printed meeples really make all the difference. Also, you may notice some of your favorite board game celebrities have been made their way into the game!!

Super Soaked (Waterproof) Edition

The Waterproof Neoprene Mat is our first choice when it comes to playing this game. The added benefit of not worrying about water (or beer) spills is handy and it grips the table when those water balloons start flying!  

We are requesting a few tweaks to the boxes along with alternate PVC card cores and are awaiting the manufacure on these updates but overall, we are super stoked on this game and cannot wait to start manufacturing these games for you all!

Thank you again for all your support and we hope you enjoy these last photos until the games are completely produced. We expect to be pressing the final print button any day now!

Exciting News, FORTIFY is Reay for Printing!

We hope this update finds you all in high spirits as we approach the convention season! We couldn't be more thrilled to share the latest progress on our board game project with you today. It's been an incredible journey, and thanks to your unwavering support, we are excited to announce that FORTIFY is now ready for the final step - printing!

As it always goes with projects, but with FORTIFY specifically, we wanted to make sure such a tactile game was easy to pick up and learn your first time. To do this we spent the last month iterating the rulebook with the amazing Scott Brito until we had what we believe to be our best rule book yet! What is a game worth if it is too tough to get to the table!

As of last week we have sent all of the remaining files, properly formatted to the printer and we are now waiting on final verification before they start the print run. With GenCon right around the corner many of the employees have already started traveling to the US and therefore the process is a little slower than normal. This, combined with our attempt to perfect the rulebook has pushed us back a couple months from our expcected delivery date. Rest assured, things are still moving well and we look forward to seeing everyone playing this fun interactive game in no time!

Now for the fun part! 

Because we appreciate the opportunity you have provided us, we wanted to return the generosity and include SCREEN PRINTED MEEPLES in the game. It already has great table presence but these will definitely take it to the next level!

We will send a quick update when the printing has started which should be shortly after their teams return from travel.

Upgraded Card and Board Artwork and Final Rulebook!

Howdy there FORT builders!

It has been quite a busy April/May and we are SUPER excited to share with you some of the new amazing updates we have made to FORTIFY!  

First off, we showed you a taste of the new FORT CARD artwork from the amazing Matt Sanz, but after the project was complete and we saw these printed samples...  we could not be happier with the outcome and think it truly looks like a backyard water fight with box forts everywhere!!  Look at those cards!!  

We have also been working with the amazing Will Neibling on the rulebook.  Will has written countless rulebooks for so many great games, that we were excited to have him write the text portion of the FORTIFY rulebook.  It was the extremely talented Scott Brito who took this rulebook to a whole new level by adding in graphics, easy to understand layout, visual examples, and overall made this rulebook something we are VERY proud of and excited to send to you folks!  

We are working hard with the manufacturer to get all of the files uploaded into their system and all of the temples and artwork pixel perfect so that we can push print and get this in your hands as soon as possible.  We are pushing for an August timeframe, and will keep you posted once we have a solid delivery date.

Tradeshows, New Art, and community support!

Howdy Folks,

Ever since the FORTIFY campaign closed the excitement to get this out into the world grows and grows.  We made a decision at the begining of the year that we wanted to take the art of this game to the next level.  Kendall Hale the artist who did the cover art and all of the characters in FORTIFY did such an amazing job bringing the game to life that we wanted to give the fort cards the same treatment.  To do this, we reached out to Matt Sanz who is best known for his amazing video game art and also did the Moonshine Empire Game Board along with the Swamp Tiles and Moonshine Stills.  Below are some of the rad concepts Matt has come up with for the FORTIFY Fort Cards which should make the game even better!  After this the only step left is to add the new art into the rule book and then we are ready to press print.  Thank you so much for all of your support in bringing such a fun and interesting game to life.

On that note, we wanted to introduce you to another up and coming creator that is launching their first kickstarter TODAY.  We met Dennis and Kalani of Cleromancy games during GENCON 2021, became quick buddies, and have been following along as they work to bring their amazing game WORN WANDERERS to life!  If you get a chance, please take a look at their Kickstarter page HERE and consider backing for a dollar and leaving them a nice note in the comments.  It may not seem like a lot, but as we mentioned during our campaign, the support goes a long way at the beginning of the campaign to help get the word out.

Updated Rulebook and next steps

Happy Valentines Day Backers!

First off we would like to thank everyone for filling out their surveys, We have had a ton of great responses with a significant amount of people taking advantage of the steep discounds on game add ons in backerkit. If you haven't done so already, please make sure to check it out asap.

As for finalizing the design and moving to manufacting, everything is starting to pick back up now that we are through the holiday lull.  We are excited to announce that we have been working with the great Will Neibling to put together a thorough, insightful, and playful rule book to go along with this amazing game.  We are also working with Scott Brito another amazing designer to assist with layout of the rulebook.  We are confident that the end result will be outstanding!

Besides the new rule book, we are also working with the amazing Matt Sanz who did some of the design work for Moonshine Empire!  Matt will be creating some killer artwork for the FORT cards and Game Board in FORTIFY and we cannot wait to share his artwork with you... (don't miss the next update!)

We are super excited to be attending Dice Tower West next month.  We will have pre-production copies of FORTIFY for people to play and we plan to hold another FORTIFY tournament where the champion will receive something awesome (Stay tuned for the prize)!  Let us know if you will be attending DTW as we would love to show our backers a few tips and tricks to give them a leg up as appreciation.

We are still on track for a July/Aug 2023 delivery of FORTIFY, and will keep you posted as the production and shipping process takes form!  Thanks again for your support everyone, we hope to see you in Vegas at Dice Tower West!
